The security of your data is, of course, one of our top priorities. We observe the statutory provisions on data protection, in particular the German Federal Data Protection Act [BDSG - Bundesdatenschutzgesetz] and the German Telemedia Act [TMG - Telemediengesetz].
You give us your consent that localis GmbH may collect, process and use your personal data for the purposes named here.
You are entitled to revoke your consent to the processing and use of your data at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Section 13 of the German Telemedia Act. localis collects, processes and uses the personal data of a customer without any further consent only insofar as this is required for performance of the contract and for billing. As a general rule, the company's name, the name of the contact, address, telephone number, e-mail address, banking connection and access codes of the customer (inventory data) are stored. This data is collected using electronic forms.
Data such as the start, end and scope of the use of certain teleservices by a user or call data for the various services (utilisation data) is collected, processed and used only if necessary to enable and bill the use of these services. As a basic principle, the date and time as well as the time zone of the start and end of use, the data transfer, the user's IP address and the type of the service used is stored.
Insofar as data is required for billing purposes (billing data), it is stored for no longer than up to six months after sending the bill, after that only if and for as long as the user objects to the bill or fails to pay the bill despite receiving a payment reminder. If the data is required to observe existing retention periods stipulated by law, the articles of association or contract, localis is entitled to store the data for longer periods.
localis may transmit billing data to other service providers and third parties, insofar as this is necessary to calculate the charges and to bill the user. If the appropriate prerequisites have been met, localis is entitled to collect, process and use the personal data which is required to uncover and prevent illegal use and to enforce its claims against the user.
To process the contact between users, localis may transfer the required personal data of the customer to the respective party. If the customer places personal data in the part of the teleservice which can be seen by the public, anyone can access this data.
localis may use the customer's personal data for marketing purposes by e-mail for all the services offered by localis. Should localis use cooperation partners for this purpose, the personal data may also be transferred to the cooperation partners. The customer may object to this procedure at any time without other costs being incurred for this action apart from the transmission costs based on the basic rates.
Subject to the regulations applicable in this connection, localis is entitled to give information to courts and to prosecuting authorities for the purpose of the prosecution of crimes and statutory violations.
Personal settings are stored by us. This ensures that you find your personal settings again each time you visit our site (and specially for each log-in). To this end, the customary "cookies" are used apart from the server's databases. These cookies are little files which are permanently stored on the user's fixed disk by his or her browser. Cookies are also necessary to use this website afterwards without any problems.
